Arlin Thomas Hester age 85 of Joppa passed away Sunday Feb. 12, 2012, at Assisted Living of Arab. Mr. Hester was born on Dec. 20, 1926, in Morgan County, AL to Warren J. and Willie Lee Shipp Hester. He was a Farmer and served in the Army in World War II. He was a member of Hebron Church of Christ.

He is survived by His Brother: Warner Hester of Amory, Mississippi and a Host of Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by: Brothers: Albert, Huey and Walter Hester

Funeral Service was Thurs. Feb. 16, 2012, at 2 PM at Hebron Church of Christ with Brad Howard officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation was Wed. from 6-8 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel and He lay in state Thurs. from 1-2PM at the Church.

Pallbearers were: Halford Hester, Bobby Lee, Jimmy Hester, Johnny Leech, Barry Hester, Larry Palmer, Jim Henderson and Stanley Burden.
