Mrs. Barbara Jean Campbell age 69 of Arab died Friday Sept. 30,
2011, at Shepherd's Cove. Mrs. Campbell was born on July 28, 1942,
in Peoria, Illinois to Edward Eugene and Dana Louise Alkire Scott.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: Companion: Edwin Burgett of Arab; Sons: Rick
(Cindy) Millard of Washington, Illinois and James Roy (Cathy)
Campbell of Arab; Daughter: Peggy Jo Campbell of Arab; Sisters:
Diane (Donnie) Gustin of Peoria, Illinois and Mary (Dave) Wood of
Evansville, Indiana; Grandchildren: Jenny Kettering, Tara McPeek,
Rebecca Maynard, Ashley Smith, James Ryan Campbell, Brittney Morgan
Campbell, Courtney Ann Newton, Cody Campbell, Melissa Stanley and
Joshua Dickerson; Great Grandchildren: Haleigh, Kaylee, Alexus,
Brooke, Makayla, Dominique, Lexi, Blake, Kyelee, Landon and Logan:
Step Children: Lawayne, Teresa, Darren, Deborah, Pamela and
Chris
Preceded in death by Parents: Edward Eugene and Dana Louise
Alkire Scott and Husband: James Ray "Buddy" Campbell
Funeral Service was Monday Oct. 3, 2011, at 2 PM at Gober
Funeral Chapel with Bro. Keith Hodges officiating. Burial was in
Gilliam Springs Cemetery. Visitation was Monday from 10 AM until
Funeral time at Gober Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers were: Joel Monk,
Matt Smith, Bill Tarvin, Ryan Campbell, Cody Campbell and Tony
Gilley.
