Mrs. Brenda Haga age 66 of Arab passed away Wed. Oct. 5, 2011,
at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Haga was born on Dec. 5, 1944, in
Arab, AL to Leon David and Arah C. Willis Lynch. She was retired
from the City of Arab where she worked as Court Clerk/Magistrate.
She graduated in 1962 from Arab High School and was a member of
Grassy Church of Christ. She and James Oliver Haga were married on
June 8, 1962. Brenda also enjoyed traveling very much.
Brenda is survived by Husband: Oliver Haga of Arab; Son and
Daughter in law: Scott and Terri Haga of Arab; Mother in law: Leola
Haga of Arab; Grandchildren: Emily and Ashley Haga of Arab;
Brothers in law and Sisters in law: Verlon and Dawn Haga of Arab,
Leonard and Tammie Haga of Arab, Wanda "Kitten" Bryan of Arab, Pete
and Willie Willis of Arab and Martha Sue Carrington of Arab; Aunt:
Juanita Willis of Arab; Several Nieces and Nephews; She was
preceded in death by Son: David Oliver Haga and Parents: Leon David
and Arah C. Willis Lynch.
Funeral Service was Friday Oct. 7, 2011, at 2 PM at Grassy
Church of Christ with Bro. James Dudley officiating. Burial was in
Brashier's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation was at Gober Funeral Chapel
on Thurs. from 6-8 PM and she lay in state at the Church Fri.
from 1-2 PM.
Pallbearers were: Leonard Haga, Zac Haga, Nick Carrington, Seth
Moore, Mickey Waldrop, James Willis, Jason Willis and Ricky
Wood.
Honorary was: Rodney Tompkins
