Mr. Clyde Franklin Mathews age 96 of Arab passed away Wed. Dec. 28, 2011, at Marshall Medical Center North. Mr. Mathews was born on July 24, 1915, in McMinn County, TN to James Thomas and Mary Ida Kennedy Mathews. He was a farmer and loved to hunt and fish.

Survivors include: Son: Harold Mathews of Arab; Daughters: Linda Kay Mathews of Madison and Opal Mathews Robinson of Hartselle; Grandson: Jimmy Robinson

Funeral Service was Friday Dec. 30, 2011, at 1 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with Rev. Shane Wheeler officiating. Burial was in Oden Ridge Cemetery in Morgan County. Visitation was Thurs. from 6-8 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel.
