Mr. Elton Edward Crow age 74 of Arab passed away Sat. Oct. 15,
2011, at his residence. Mr. Crow was born on Dec. 8, 1936, in
Decatur, AL to Herman O'Brian and Hattie Mae Ramey Crow. He served
in the US Army and National Guard, was a retired
Plumber/Steamfitter and was married to Barbara Ann Hale Crow.
He enjoyed Woodworking, Gardening. loved Country Music and most
of all loved his family and enjoyed life. He was a very dedicated
member of Arab Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Crow is survived by Wife: Barbara Ann Hale Crow of Arab;
Children: Rodney (Diane) Crow of Comanche, OK, Michael (Scarlett)
Crow of San Antonio, TX, Mary Crow Cooley (Tony) of Union Grove,
Robin Crow Brown (Kendall) of Union Grove and John Crow of Arab;
Sisters: Rachel Hulsey of Joppa, Reba Byrd of Owen's Cross Roads
and Linda Freeman of Arab; Brothers: Willie Crow of Hanceville,
Donald Crow of Arab and Tommy Crow of Cartersville, GA;
Grandchildren: Phillip (PJ) Crow, Scott (Megan) Cooley, Jacob Crow,
Brian Cooley, Cecily Brown and Kevin Brown; Preceded in death by:
Parents: Herman and Hattie Ramey Crow; Son: William O'Brian Crow;
Brothers: Claud Crow and Robert Crow; Sister: Nina Crow;
Funeral Service was Tues. Oct. 18, 2011, at 2 PM at Gober
Funeral Chapel with Chris Herbert officiating. Burial in Rock
Springs Cemetery. Visitation was Monday from 6-8 PM at Gober
Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers were: Phillip Crow, Scott Cooley, Jacob
Crow, Brian Cooley, Tony Cooley and Kendall Brown; Honorary were:
Cecily Brown and Kevin Brown
