Mrs. Imogene B. Thompson age 85 of Huntsville passed
away Friday, January 27, 2012 at Windsor House Nursing Home in
Huntsville. Mrs. Thompson was born on Feb. 19, 1926, in Marshall
County, AL to Logan and Lee Ola Buchanan Boyd. She was a homemaker
and was married to Ottis V. Thompson who died on July 1,
1990.
She is survived by: Daughters: Wava Joan Nagle of Madison, AL,
and Vanda Jean Simpson of St. Louis, MO; Brother: James K. "Sonny"
Boyd of Cullman; Sisters: Sarah Boyd Clark and Nada
Boyd Miller of Arab; 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great
grandchildren
Preceded in death by Husband: Ottis V. Thompson and Son: Larry
"Toothy" Thompson
Funeral Service was Monday Jan. 30, 2012, at 1 PM at Gober
Funeral Chapel with Hubert Allen Thompson and Max Navarro
officiating. Burial was in Little Vine Cemetery. Visitation was
Sunday from 5-8 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel.
