Mr. J.B. Briscoe age 81 of Arab passed away Sat. Feb. 4, 2012 at
Marshall Medical Center North. Mr. Briscoe was born on March 29,
1930, in Marshall County, AL to J.E. and Lillie Mae Rutledge
Briscoe. He was a retired Farmer and Truck Driver for Synergy Gas.
He was married to Ruby Edith Hall Briscoe who preceded him in
death. Also preceding him were His Son, Jr. Briscoe and Daughters,
Lillie Ann Briscoe and Linda Sue Briscoe.
He is survived by Son: Raymond Dale (Connie) Briscoe of Arab;
Brothers: Winford "Doc" Briscoe and Windell "Sonny" (Jo) Briscoe of
Arab; Sisters: Hazel Dean Ralph and Thelma Willis of Arab;
Grandchildren: Vonna Sue Robbins, Andra Lee Briscoe and Benjamin
Dale Briscoe; Great Grandchildren: John Richard Harris and Dakota
Rei Harris
Funeral Service was Tues. Feb. 7, 2012, at 1 PM at Gober Funeral
Chapel with Ken Tyler officiating. Burial was in Mt. Oak-Ruth
Cemetery. Visitation was Monday from 6-8 PM at Gober Funeral
Chapel.
Pallbearers were: Benjamin Briscoe, Travis Briscoe, Michael
Paynton, Michael Light, Jamie Light and Tony Ralph
