James Malcolm "Billy" Tidmore age 77 of Arab passed away Thurs.
Dec. 22, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Tidmore was born on Sept. 2,
1934, in Marshall County, AL to Robert R. and Bertha Gibbs Tidmore.
He served in the US Army and worked as a carpenter. He was married
to Sallie Johnson Tidmore.
Survivors include: Wife: Sallie Tidmore of Arab; Children: Sonja
(James) Maynard of Union Grove, Robert Tidmore of Arab, Raymond
Tidmore of Arab and Sidney (Melinda) Tidmore of Attalla; Brothers:
Max (Georgia) Tidmore of Arab, Danny (Martha) Tidmore of Arab,
Rayburn (Brenda) Tidmore of Kilpatrick, and Donny (Ressie) Tidmore
of Locust Fork; Sisters: Jo (Jimmy) Howard of Arab and Lora Ann
(Delbert) Nunnelley of Leeds; Granddaughter: Cynthia (Howard) Hill
and Great Grandchildren: Jordan, Issac, and Cori Hill and Calli

Preceded in death by Parents, Three Brothers and Three
Sisters
Funeral Service was Friday Dec. 23, 2011, at 2 PM at New
Friendship Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
He lay in state at the Church on Friday from 1-2 PM. There was
no visitation at the Funeral Home. Gober Funeral Home
directing.
Pallbearers were: Rickey Alldredge, Andrew Shields, Ben
Tidmore, Oran Lynn Tidmore, Edwin Howard and Howard Hill.
