Joyce Marie Culp age 76 of Arab passed away Friday Jan. 20,
2012, at Marshall Medical Center North. Ms. Culp was born on Feb.
17, 1935, in Tipton County, TN to Lee Earl and Linnie Ethel
Phillips Downing. She was a Care Giver for many years sitting with
the elderly.
Ms. Culp is survived by Sons: Mark (Lori) Culp and Gary Wayne
(Lisa) Culp of Union Grove; Brother: Palmer Lee Downing of Jackson,
TN; Sisters: Sarah Frances Campbell of Covington, TN, Peggy
Jeanette Max of Mumford, TN and Ethel May Spurgeon of Mumford, TN;
Four Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren;
Preceded in death by Parents: Lee Earl and Linnie Ethel Phillips
Downing; Brothers: Lee Earl Downing, Jr and Charles Emanuel
Downing; Sister: Jessie Willodean Scott
Funeral Service was Sunday Jan. 22, 2012, at 3 PM at Gober
Funeral Chapel with burial in Brock's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation
was Sunday from 1:30 PM until Funeral Time.
