Mrs. Laura Nell Harper age 83 of Arab, Alabama passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Harper was born January 6, 1928 in Marshall County, Alabama to Samuel L. and Elmer Thompson Leak. She was a Home Maker. She was married to Joseph W. Harper who passed away in April of 1996. She was affiliated with the Church of God.

Mrs Harper is survived by one son, Larry S. Harper and three daughters, Mary Jo Clark of Albertville, Carolyn Weems of Arab and Ann (Travis) Beam of Arab, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Harper; parents, Samuel L. and Elmer Thompson Leak and a son, Michael T. Harper.

Funeral Service was Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Gober Funeral Chapel with Bro. Larry Dyar officiating. Burial was in Brashiers Chapel Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday, January 1, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel.

Pall Bearers were: Johnny Clark, Tony Clark, Jerry Clark, Lewis Beam, Cody Beam and Jordan Poe. Honorary Pall Bearer is Carter Beam
