Margine Reynolds Harper age 76
of Joppa passed away Sat. Nov. 12, 2011, at her residence. Mrs.
Harper was born on Nov. 22, 1934, in Blount County, AL to Clarence
and Jewel Westbrooks Reynolds. She was married to Walter Lavon
Harper on May 2, 1953. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2005.
She was also preceded in death by a Daughter: Melinda Jean Harper,
Sister: Glenda Sue Solley and Great Grandson: Jayden Hallmark. Mrs.
Harper was retired from Syncro Corporation and a member of Union
Hill First Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include: Son and
Daughter in law: Ricky Lavon and Joan Harper of Joppa;
Grandchildren: Carla (J.T.) Scott and Regina (Ricky) Hallmark
of Joppa; Great Grandchildren: Austin, Anna and Allie Scott and
Julie Hallmark; Brothers: Kelton (Billie) Reynolds of
Arab and David (Sue) Reynolds of Joppa
Funeral Service was Monday
Nov. 14, 2011, at 11 AM at Union Hill First Congregational
Methodist Church with Bro. Jeff Rowan and Bro. John Railey
officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation was
at Gober Funeral Chapel Sunday from 6-9 PM. She lay in state
from 10AM until Funeral time at the Church Monday. Pallbearers
were: Kevin Reynolds, Shannon Reynolds, John Solley, Mike Solley,
Robert Reynolds, Jimmy Dale Harper, Shannon Black and James
Harper.
The family is accepting
