Mrs. Rachel Jane Crow Hulsey age 77 of Joppa, passed away Wed. Nov. 2, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Hulsey was born on July 24, 1934, to Herman O'Brian and Hattie Ramey Crow. She was married to William Hulsey, Jr. on Arpil 7, 1965. He passed away on July 11, 1995. She was a 1955 graduate of Arab High School and worked for several years as a cook at Arab Nursing Home.

She is survived by Children: Donna (Dennis) Wright of Joppa, Deb (Mike) Stone of Union Grove, Lisa (Curtis) Allen of Joppa, Lena Hulsey of Huntsville, Molly (Dale) Blackwood of Eva and Jeff Hulsey of Union Grove; Grandchildren: Rachel Gail Wright, Destiny Hulsey, Logan Allen, Cayla Allen, Jenna Stone, Hunter Blackwood and Holly Blackwood; Great Grandchildren: Anna Wright, Alex Wright and Andy Wright; Brothers: Willie (Brenda) Crow of Hanceville, Donald (JoAnn) Crow of Arab and Tommy (Carol) Crow of Cartersville, GA; Sisters: Reba Byrd of Owens Cross Roads and Linda (Ronald) Freeman of Arab

Funeral Service was Sat. Nov. 5, 2011, at 2 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with Chris Herbert officiating. Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation was Friday from 6-9 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers were: Brian Cooley, Scott Cooley, John Crow, Bobby Byrd, Richard Freeman, and David Sutton
