James Eddie Henson of Arab passed away Tues. March 13, 2018, surrounded by loved ones in his home. Mr. Henson was born on June 6, 1951, in Arab, AL the son of James Radford Henson and Lola Mae Rutherford Henson. He worked as a heating and cooling appliance repair mechanic in Chicago, Ill. His passion was for art and collecting but his greatest treasures were his friends and family. He is survived by his Mother, Lola Henson of Chicago, Illinois; Children, Kimberly Clough Thomas (Michael) of Morgantown, West Virginia, (Cindy Grim) mother of Jimmy Henson of Huntsville and Christie Henson of Arab; Sister, Barbara Fay Stumfoll (Robert) of Chicago, Illinois; half sisters, Judy Nelson, Lisa Henson, and Janice Henson; Grandchildren, Morgan Thomas and Colton Thomas; Nephew, Ryan Stumfoll (Christina Dunn) and Great Nephew, William Wyatt Stumfoll; Lifelong friends include Jerry Smith, Rocky Jones, Ander Alcarese and Rick Reliford. Several Aunts, Uncles, other family and friends. Special thanks to Rick and Lori Reliford, Sue Walker and Linda Fisher for helping Kim care for Dudah Jim in his final days. A Memorial Service will be held on Sat. March 17, 2018, at 11:30 AM at Gober Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11-11:30 before the service.
