Jean S. Charles age 84, of Pelham and formerly of Arab passed away Wed. July 24, 2019, at South Haven Health and Rehabilitation in Birmingham. Jean was born in Arab, AL on Oct. 4, 1934. She worked as a Realtor for 25 years and had been living in the Pelham area for the past several years. She is survived by her Children: Michael (Pamela) Charles of Pelham, AL, P. David (Julia) Charles of Nashville, TN and Lin C. Kerekes of Tuscaloosa, AL; Grandchildren: Michael Kerekes, Taylor Kerekes, Lee Kerekes, James Charles, Christopher Charles, Jack Charles and Ryan Charles; Preceded in death by Mother: Odillion Sparks and Son in law: Richard Kerekes. A Graveside Service will be held on Sat. July 27, 2019, at 1 PM at Arab Memorial Cemetery, directed by Gober Funeral Chapel. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
