Richard Anthony Norrod age 52, of Arab passed away Wed. March 13, 2019, at Marshall Medical Center North. Richard was born on April 11, 1966, in Winter Haven, Florida the Son of Kermit and Mamie Sue Swack Norrod. He worked as a mechanic until he had to retire due to failing health. He was married to Christine Dixon Norrod. He is survived by his Wife: Christine Norrod of Arab; Mother: Sue Arispe of Oxford, AL; Daughters: Elezebeth Norrod and Clairessa Norrod of Goodlettsville, TN; Brother: Robert Norrod of Union Grove; Step Son: Mark (Anna) Pirogowicz of Canal Fulton, Ohio; Niece: Alicia Montecupo of Menlo, GA; Great Nephew: William Montecupo of Menlo, GA; Host of Cousins, other family and friends; Also survived by his “Fur Babies”, Robin, Felix and Zelda and his Turtle, Kenki. He was preceded in death by his Father: Kermit Norrod; Brother: Ray Norrod and Grandmother: Minnie Elezebeth Atkinson. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday March 18, 2019, at 4 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3-4 PM.
