Toxie Kennedy 78, of Arab passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Kennedy was born April 30, 1940 in Arab, Alabama, the son of Charles Anderson Kennedy and Nova Jane Hipp Kennedy. He was a graduate of Arab High School "Class of 1958" and also attended Columbia Military Academy. He and the former Judy Campbell were married 55 years. Toxie Crawford Kennedy is mourned by his wife of 55 years: Judy Campbell Kennedy; the son of his heart: Donald Roden, the daughters of his heart: Jennifer and Tara and some special friends who never let him down: Dwayne Shedd, Locke Ballard, Terry Robinson, Bobby Joe Williams and Nancy Scott; he has two sisters: Frankie Jones of Hulaco and Bobbye Needham of Hulaco and a brother: J. C. Kennedy of Texas. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Gober Funeral Chapel with Brother Greg Stone, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel, directing. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Gober Funeral Chapel.
